Cabin Counselor Jobs- I want to work directly with kids.

CABIN COUNSELOR Provide leadership for a cabin group and be able to organize, plan and run at least one area of camp program.  At least half of all counselors must either be 20 years old and/or have completed one year of college. All cabin counselors must be at least 18 years old.  Aquatics certifications are a plus.   $180/week
CABIN COUNSELOR/WRANGLER Perform cabin counselor duties but program area teaching responsibility would be in the various levels of our Western Riding Program. All Wranglers are required to attend a one week training prior to regular staff training. $185/week
CABIN COUNSELOR/ ARTS AND CRAFTS SPECIALIST Provide leadership for a cabin group.  Responsible for program development, lesson plans, training and implementation of arts and crafts area.  Responsible for equipment and supplies.  Insure quality of program offered to increase learning and enjoyment of all campers.  $185/week 
CHALLENGER COUNSELOR Responsible for coordinating and supervising the programming for oldest teens in traditional camp (ages 13-15).  You will remain with this unique teen group for day and evening schedules.  Preferably 21 years or older. $185/wee


 

Horse Jobs- I have horseback riding experience & want to work with the horses.

CABIN COUNSELOR/WRANGLER Perform cabin counselor duties but program area teaching responsibility would be in the various levels of our Western Riding Program. All Wranglers are required to attend a one week training prior to regular staff training. $185/week
RIDING DIRECTOR Supervise Western Riding Program (five levels including beginning to advanced) and staff (Riding Assistants/ Wranglers). Organize and run week-long training for riding staff. Responsible for care of horses, tack, equipment, barn, and pasture areas.  Must be at least 21 years old. $245/week
RIDING ASSISTANTS Teach horseback riding lessons: beginning to advanced, ring and trail. Provide leadership and support to total camp program. One week of training prior to regular staff training is required. Preferably 20 years old. $185/week
WIT/CWIT COORDINATOR  Provide leadership for the Wrangler-in-Training and Counselor-Wrangler-in-Training Programs  Outdoor living skills a must. Previous group work with teens helpful. Previous camp, horseback riding and lesson teaching experience required.  Preferably 21 years old. $200/week

 

Administrative Jobs- I want to be in a supervisor or support role at camp.

CHALLENGE COURSE PROGRAM DIRECTOR Responsible for coordination, support and leadership of counselors in both cabin life and camp program.  Supervise all facets of low and high Ropes Course elements including staff training, facilitation, and course maintenance.  Coordinate ropes course activities for LTP/Adventure groups.  A solid technical background working on a ropes course is required.  Must have previous camp experience and be at least 21 years old. $220/week
CHALLENGER COORDINATOR Responsible for coordination, scheduling, support and leadership of the Challenger Counselors and the Challenger Program in both cabin life and camp program. Responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and evaluating the challenger program areas. Responsible for organizing and caring for all program supplies.  Must have previous camp experience and be at least 21 years old. $220/week 
DAILY PROGRAM DIRECTOR Responsible for coordination, scheduling, support and leadership of counselors in both cabin life and camp program. Responsible for reviewing, maintaining, and evaluating camp’s 9 program areas. Responsible for organizing and caring for all program supplies.  Must have previous camp experience and be at least 21 years old. $220/week
FACILITIES COORDINATOR
Responsible for coordinating the assignment and proper execution of all camp cleaning chores on a daily basis and maintaining  the cleaning supplies inventory for the entire camp. Must be 21 years old.  Duties include coordination of all lost and found duties, and assisting the Camp Nurse with coverage of the Health Center between 2-4pm daily.  Also responsible for managing the camp birthday program. $220/week
HEALTH SUPERVISOR
Supervise Health Center.  Administer First Aid and medications as needed to CCO as well as conference center guests. Maintain required forms, logs, and act as liaison with camp physician.  Assist in staff training to provide staff with appropriate knowledge. Previous camp experience and RN preferred. Must be 21. Salary Negotiable.
MASTER OF FUN AND GAMES
Responsible for coordination, scheduling, support and leadership of counselors in both cabin life and camp program.  Produce weekly schedule of events relevant to theme weeks; plan and implement games and events for 200+ campers and staff; and monitor Vespers to ensure quality.  Responsible for organizing and caring for all program supplies. Must have previous camp experience and be at least 21 years old. $220/week
ASSISTANT REGISTRAR
Assists camp administrative personnel in various tasks in all aspects of camp operations.  Primary responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, office duties, program/cabin duties, and other administrative duties as assigned.  Some office experience preferred. Must be at least 18 years old. $180/week.
TRAVEL COORDINATOR 
Coordinate, schedule, organize and troubleshoot all camp travel and vehicle needs including airport arrivals/departures, adventure program trips, local travel needs, medical clinic visits, purchasing errands, and other duties as assigned.  Will also drive camp vehicles when needed. Must be at least 21 years old, organized, responsible, and have a clean driving record. $220/week
TRAVEL ASSISTANT
Responsible for safe transportation of campers and staff in all facets of camp program.  This includes, but is not limited to, airport arrivals/departures, dropping off and picking up hiking trip campers and staff at trailheads, general errands and taking ill/injured campers/staff to the medical clinic if needed.  Must be at least 21 years old, organized, responsible, and have a clean driving record.  Volunteer position.

 

Wilderness & Leadership Training Jobs- I love working with teens and have backcountry experience.

TRIP LEADERS  Responsible for leading in-camp activities and out of camp trips for campers in backpacking, rafting, and mountain biking programs. Previous experience leading wilderness trips and/or student experience with NOLS, Outward Bound, or similar programs required for leaders. Demonstrated leadership skills and working with teens is important. Responsible for food pack-out and equipment organization and maintenance through the Trail Department.  Preferably 21+ with a good driving record. $185/week
LIT (LEADER-IN-TRAINING) LEADER/TRIP LEADER  Responsible for leading 2 sessions of the LIT Program as well as leading other wilderness trips throughout the summer.  Backpacking experience, outdoor living skills, and group work with teens required.  (See Trip Leader and LIT Coordinator/Assistant descriptions)  Preferably 21+ with a good driving record. $185/week
CIT COORDINATOR Responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and leading the CIT (Counselor-in-Training) Program.  Maintain positive relationships and open communication with cabin staff for the benefit of CIT campers.  Promote enrollment within the Leadership Training Program. Remain active in staff development. Assist in camp programs and camp living areas as needed.  Must be at least 21 years of age with previous camp experience, demonstrated leadership, ropes course experience and capable of assuming a leadership role within the LTP and main camp. $220/week
SIT (SPECIALIST-IN-TRAINING) LEADER Provide leadership for Specialist-in-Training program.   Outdoor living skills a must.  Previous group work with teens helpful.  Experience in backpacking/mountain biking required.  Experience with ropes course preferred.  Coordinator must be 21 years old. Assistant preferably 20 years old. $185/week
TRAIL DEPARTMENT COORDINATOR  Responsible for working with Trip Leaders to organize/maintain trail equipment used by the Wilderness Adventure and Leadership Training Programs.  Coordinate food packing for groups in tipi village and hiking, horse, rafting, and mountain biking trips. Coordinate logistics for Surf & Turf trip and all back country participants. Necessary qualifications include demonstrated organizational skills and past trip leading experience.  Must be 21 years of age. $200/week

 

Kitchen Jobs- I love food.

KITCHEN MANAGER Responsible for all operations of the camp kitchen, in accordance with Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment rules and regulations, including but not limited to: food preparation, food ordering, cleanliness of kitchen facility, and supervision of one assistant and eight staff members. $480/week
ASSISTANT KITCHEN MANAGER Responsible for assisting with all duties of the Kitchen Manager (see above).  $220/week
KITCHEN STAFF Responsible for food preparation for all camp meals.  Responsible for cleanliness of camp kitchen, dining hall facility, and dishes.  $180/week
