Family Camp

Round up the family and get away to the beauty of the Colorado Rockies and the good ol' days of summer camp!  Parents, grandparents, teens and children enjoy traditional camp activities. Together you'll learn new skills, bond through teamwork and create lasting memories.  Bring the entire family for a good dose of summer camp magic!

*Horseback riding is available for an additional cost.

Lodging Options
There are three types of lodging at camp. “Rustic” Cabins are our traditional West Village camper cabins with centrally located bath houses. These cabins have electricity, but no heat or running water. There are a few cabins with bathrooms located inside the cabin. Cabins with bathroom facilities will be reserved for families with special needs. You will receive your cabin assignment upon arrival at camp. Snow Mountain Ranch Lodge rooms are available at an additional cost. They are hotel style rooms with a combination of queen & bunk beds. Full bathroom, wireless internet and telephone. Your linens are provided. If you have arranged to stay in one of the lodge rooms at Snow Mountain Ranch you will still need to check in at Camp Chief Ouray. We will have your keys here for you.

Arriving at Camp
You will need  to arrive at camp on the first day BETWEEN 6:00 P.M. AND 7:00 P.M. DINNER WILL NOT BE PROVIDED, SO PLEASE EAT BEFORE YOU ARRIVE. (We can recommend several family friendly places in Winter Park.) Please go to the main Camp Chief Ouray dining hall building at the rear of Snow Mountain Ranch for check-in.

Leaving Camp
Check-out on the last day will be at approximately 10:00 a.m. Breakfast will be the last meal served.
