Trekker Peru will occur in the summer of 2012 if there is enough interest. If interested, please contact the camp office. For teens ages 15-17. Space is extremely limited (8-10 participants with two trip leaders) and potential participants must submit an application as soon as possible.
Participants will have an opportunity to walk away with unforgettable and positive experiences. The trip will pave the way for personal growth and allow teens to participate in service projects while exploring a country rich in culture and history. 
Activities include:
-Exploring Lima, the capital and largest city in Peru
-Miraflores city tour, an district of Lima known for its shopping, gardens, flower-filled parks and beaches
-Community service project and Latin dance class in Independencia
-Tour of Pachacamac, an archaeological site southeast of Lima known for its pre-Incan pyramids
-Peruvian box drum lesson
-Visit to the largest water park in South America
-Visit to an orphanage
-Visit to the Anthropological Museum
-Tour the catacombs of Lima
-Merengue lessons in Lima
-Environmental project
-Sand board and dune buggy in the Ica Desert
-Desert camping in Ica Desert
-Ballestas Islands tour, a group of islands known for their sea lion populations
-Shopping in Lima
